Traveling, Family Time!

February - March 2010

Nalini will be appearing in Michael John Garces's new one-act "In The Zone" directed by Portia Krieger in The Red Fern Theatre Company's +30 PLAYS. The cast includes Maria Christina-Oliveras, Richard Gallagher and Ian Quinian. Runs March 4-21st. Tickets available on Theatermania. January - February 2010

Nalini performed in a fun clown/commedia dell'arte interpretation of the famous Carlo Goldoni piece  "A Servant of Two Masters" directed by Alberto Bonilla at Queens Players Theatre!

November - December 2009

Nalini is currently a member of The Bats, the resident acting company of the Obie Award Winning Flea Theater in downtown New York. She performed in select performances in The Great Recession as Amina in Erin Courtney's Severed dir by Davis McCallum. The piece was a part of 6 World Premiers written by Adam Rapp, Erin Courtney, Itamar Moses, Thomas Bradshaw, Sheila Callaghan, and Will Eno. (www.theflea.org)

October 2009

Nalini plays the role of an Antebellum Slave Doll "Early" in a reading of Alva Roger's The Doll Plays at the Off - Broadway house Classical Theatre of Harlem. (www.classicaltheatreofharlem.org)

September 2009

Nalini recently wrapped the Lead role in a short film shot in the beautiful location of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. VOICE LESSONS, a coming of age story of a seventeen year old muslim girl delving into the world of Opera, directed by Dalila Droege is currently in post-production. More soon.

August 2009

Nalini performed in Gorilla Rep Shakespeare Company's PEER GYNT, adapted by Laura Lynn MacDonald. She played Anitra, a young feisty Bedouin concubine and various other characters! www.gorillarep.org

June 2009 - July 2009

Nalini is cast to understudy the Lead in JOAN OF ARC with the acclaimed New York Shakespeare Company Gorilla Rep. The play is penned by Robert Steven Ackerman.

March 2009 

Performs in a reading of Snehal Desai's "SITA/SATI" along with some amazing actors such as Joseph P Parks (Eurydice), Debargo Sanyal (Looking For The Pony), Mahira Kakkar and more at The June Havoc Abingdon Theater.

Work shopped Pal Anuvab's new piece 1800-INDIA at The LARK directed by Dominic D'Andrea. 

Performs in The One-Page Play Festival of a new bi-lingual piece (Spanish and English) 1800-Mexican where she plays an Indian call center worker solving problems for Mexican culture.

January - February 2009
